OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Purpose and Scope of Assignment
· Assist in ensuring continuous operation of the on-site CCTV and access control systems.
· Assist in documenting all incidents on site by active use of CCTV and assure secure storage of such documentation.
· Receive, log and monitor all deliveries and keep in a proper filing system;
· Control entry and ensure security of the MMU during after hour’s period;
· Log in all accidents and incidents reported during duty period.
· Register and forward all mail, faxes and messages deposited during duty and off hours.
· Request and accurately identify/verify exact location map grid references of all incidents/accidents
· Remain well orientated on all working maps in the duty room.
· Maintain both electronic and manual log/occurrence book/register.
· Brief the incoming operations room monitor of all events, especially pending cases on actions taken and what to expect during hand /take-over of duties.
· Perform any other tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education
· Bachelors degree or equivalent in fields related to monitoring, security or any other related field; a high school degree with 7 years of relevant work experience, may substitute for the requirement for a bachelor degree.
Work Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience from relevant work with a security company, the police, or the Fire Services is required.
• Very good computer skills, full proficiency in using advanced standard computer applications, word processing, graphics, slides preparation, spreadsheets, use of Internet and ability to research and organize data.

Languages
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is essential. Intermediate language skills in English.
