Head of Section (Security)

Scope of Duties:

• Manage day-to-day security issues
• Work closely with Security & Fire Services Manager to develop security strategies and achieve security targets
• To monitor and supervise the general performance of the security team
• Be accountable for the systems, procedures and setup at Security Surveillance and Control Team. Regular review and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain the best practice of security surveillance and control and implement the high quality of Guest services for both internal and external Guests
• Responsible for supervising and monitoring the efforts and personnel of assigned areas to maintain security and safety of people and property within the Company’s premises against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry
• Monitor and schedule security personnel to cover designated facilities and shifts
• Monitor the performance of all fire and security systems such as access control system, CCTV and alarm systems
• Conduct briefings and coordinate training and special assignments

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a degree in Criminal Justice or related discipline
• Well versed with the Laws of Hong Kong
• Good Security/Control Systems and Counter-surveillance technique
• Being aggressive, good problem-solving skills and presentation skills
• Good leadership skills and able to work independently
• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, English and Putonghua
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Reporting to Security & Fire Services Manager
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
