SSCL have placed an open call for Expressions of Interest
and Concept notes for members interested in becoming SSCL’s preferred
training partner.
Responsibilities:
The preferred training partner will be expected to assist SSCL in conducting a minimum of:
1. Minimum 4 times a
year Hostile Environment Awareness, Safety Awareness Induction, SSAFE
or
similar 4-5 day (2 day theory & 2 day field) training
2. Minimum 2 times a year Security or Safety Advisor or similar Certification course (2 to 4 days in length)
3. Minimum 2 times a year Critical Incident Management or similar course (2 to 3 days in length)
Requirements:
To be considered:
1. The training provider
must be, or willing to become, a SSCL member (Client and Strategic
Partners will also be considered)
2. Submit an Expression
of Interest, no longer than one page, detailing why they would like to
become the preferred training provider and why they are a strong choice
to provide training to SSCL members
3. Submit a proposal, no longer than three pages including:
a. Details of existing training suite
b. Expected support from SSCL required for training; such as administration, staff and logistics
c. Cost per training to SSCL members (training fee) and what, if any, SSCL contribution or reimbursement
d. Commitment of
attendance from SSCL to make training economically viable and ability to
provide additional training on demand.
