Our client is a Our client is global Oil &Gas Exploration Company has an immediate requirement for:
Security Lead

Accountabilities:
The Security Lead must develop and implement systems to manage Security risks on the Company
and ensure that the Project complies with the Company Group and National/International Security requirements.

Dimensions:
The Security Lead is responsible to the HSSE Manager for the following activities:
Developing and implementing the Security Management System for Company.- Acting as a security focal point and subject matter expert in regard to security related issues and concerns
Ensuring compliance with the International and National Security Standards, Export Compliance standards, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CT-PAT) and Company Corporate Security Global Standards- Maintain/coach a team of Security professionals (including contracted private security teams as appropriate) with defined competencies and training requirements
Work closely with the EPC Contractors and their Sub Contractors to assist in developing/ implementing necessary Security systems and programs as per Company/National requirements.-
Perform the role of Project focal point of contact (POC) responsible for routine and emergency communications with RLIC Security, US Customs, Coast Guard, Navy, Ministry of Interior and State Security
Building and maintaining a working network of security professionals within the private sector
Implementation of security awareness programs commensurate with identified risks- Preparation, rehearsal and implementation of security contingency plans (e.g. civil unrest / evacuation, bomb threat, kidnapping, extortion)- Integration of security requirements and contractor management operational demands into an efficient process-
Supporting and/or overseeing investigations in regard to security and business incidents-
Handling and safeguarding of sensitive security information- Supporting HSSE MS and compliance audits as required

Status: Contract

Required Skills/Experience: Qualifications:
Graduation from a law enforcement or military training academy/school
External training such as advanced courses in security management (e.g. ARC) with ASIS Certified Protection Professional training
Previous security, police or military certification
At least 10 years experience in senior-level industrial, law enforcement or military supervision
Experience interacting with law enforcement agencies as an industry representative
Practical experience working in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in a large Petrochemical Plant. Demonstrated experience in international supply chain security, in particular ISO 28000 or CT-PAT
Practical experience working with different cultures


Desired Skills/Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing host-nation subordinates in an industrial security environment
Demonstrated working knowledge of security systems such as automated access control, CCTV and intrusion detection
Strong knowledge of the security vulnerability assessment and mitigation processes

Work Schedule: 5 days a week at 8 hours a day
