Purpose
The role holder will perform the duties of an advisor to the Corporate Security & Crisis Manager in all matters relating to Security & Crisis Management. They will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and deputise for the Security & Crisis Manager in his absence. They will also be responsible for the direct coordination of all operational Security & Crisis Management across OOCEP operating assets and ensure that operational plans and procedures are implemented and maintained.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

They will also be responsible for the direct coordination of all operational Security & Crisis Management across OOCEP operating assets and ensure that operational plans and procedures are implemented and maintained.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the specification and compliance of all physical security measures and their implementation.
- Responsible for the management and professional development of the Security & Crisis Management Coordinator.
- Responsible for all matters relating to Security & Crisis Management when deputizing for the Corporate Security & Crisis Manager
- Responsible for the preparation and conduct of security risk assessments.
- Responsible for the maintenance of security plans and procedures.
- Responsible for implementation of physical security measures.
- Responsible for managing security guards at the head office.
- Responsible for the management of the fire warden team at the head office.
- Responsible for the collection and reporting of security Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Responsible for maintenance of Emergency Management Plans and procedures.
- Responsible for coordinating Emergency Management Teams.
- Responsible for carrying out post-incident investigations.
- Responsible for the coordination of Security & Crisis Management reports and returns.
- Responsible for the preparation of Security & Crisis Management monthly reports.
Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor degree in emergency respond, engineering, business or any equivalent.
- Relevant professional qualifications in security or crisis management.
- General experience in security and emergency response for minimum of 5 years.
- Skilled in applying risk management techniques.
- Skilled in incident investigation and analysis.
- A self-starter with a strong delivery oriented attitude.
- Good Command & Control skills
- Good communication, reporting, IT and presentation skills.
- Experience in encouraging personnel into security awareness and understanding of security and emergency procedures, practices and requirements.
