Holiday Inn is the first of its brand in Abu Dhabi featuring 203 modern and stylish rooms, wide variety of food & beverage outlets - Lemon Tree - a Mediterranean Brasserie, Silk Route - all day dining restaurant, 31st Bar and Lounge offering an epic view of the Grand Mosque, all in addition to meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. The hotel is a kilometer away from Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), very close to the diplomatic enclave. The hotel's fitness facilities are located at the top floor, and offer great views of the city. Besides a well equipped fitness room, there
is a pool, and three massage rooms.
Currently we are looking for Safety & Security Supervisor to join our Safety & Security Team.
The hotel has a well-trained full-time security team to patrol the entire hotel and its surroundings. All public areas within the hotel are closely monitored by the latest in surveillance (CCTV) equipment. Periodic internal and external safety audits are carried out to ensure that the hotel's security system is fully functional and effective at all times. Monthly fire drills and full evacuation exercises are organized to ensure that our colleagues are well versed with evacuation procedures.
As a Safety & Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing safety and security policies.
Key Responsibilities as Safety & Security Supervisor:
Responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and establishment needs during shift
Report all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards
Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately
Be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment
Maintain the security system
Maintain a surveillance of those areas that are frequented by guests and all work areas
Ensure checks are conducted on fire panel, fire hose real outlets and fire barriers and all other safety equipment and ensure that all are in good working order
Ensure hotel alarm system is in good working order
Supervise the outsourced Security Guards, where there will be 3 on every shift
Support the Safety Manager to make sure that the hotel is absolutely compliant with IHG's stringent fire, life, and safety standards
