Job Summary
AECOM has an excellent opportunity for a Theater Movement Control Coordinator on our MOSC-A contract in Afghanistan. The selected candidate is responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) of TCMDs (Transportation Control Movement Documents), UDL (Unit Deployment List) export files, and LVL (level) 4 data sheets throughout the theater ensuring the TC-AIMS process is accurate for the validation of ULN (Unit Line Number) creation. Responsible for the QA of all Gates Ocean Export files and Gates Air Export files prior to submission for validation of movement. Identifies and troubleshoots problem areas in movement and recommends solutions to management.
Prepares, compiles, and submits reports on operations and production. Confers with TCs, supervisors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems. Must be able to conduct briefings of findings and provide detailed data analysis. Works closely with the TCs throughout the theater to ensure desired movement objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. Analyzes work process and develops matrix for measuring performance. Ensure movement request through (Surface Deployment and Distribution Command) SDDC and Aerial Ports are accurate and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of Movement Control and Coordination experience required.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance prior to start date.
- Must have knowledge of movement request through the proper Port of Embarkation and Port of Debarkation to ensure the proper abbreviated codes are used.
- Ability to make adjustments in procedures and operations to accomplish work effectively and efficiently.
- Must be moderately skilled in Microsoft applications.
- Must be familiar with Army Information Management Systems for Movement to include knowledge and expertise in the Army Transportation System.
- Driver’s license is required.
- Prior experience with TC-AIMS preferred.
- 88N Military experience preferred.
