Job description:
An opportunity to work in the UAE, to instruct, administer and coordinate the delivery of a Leadership and Military training curriculum.

� Deliver and assist with the conduct of the Leadership and Military training curriculum and personal development of the students
� Where required plan, instruct, advise, supervise, conduct, assess and participate in all types of
Leadership and Military training, and personal development, in all conditions, both by day and night, including overnight /weeks away
� Resource, leadership, initiative and teamwork training
� Adventure training
� International Award for Young People (Duke of Edinburgh).
� Ensure all training is produced and conducted in a dynamic, challenging, realistic and safe manner, and in line with the curriculum strategy and current doctrinal teaching methods
� Conduct assessments and report on levels of training of students and groups


Candidate profile:
� Ex Western Armed Forces (regular), Junior or Senior Non-commissioned Officer with a minimum 6 years regular Army/Marine service.
� Passed SCBC or equivalent promotional course with Skill at Arms Instruction.
� Experienced/familiar with the development and implementation of training programmes.
� Committed to innovation in teaching/Instruction and learning initiatives, with a positive can do attitude and willingness to promote life-long learning
� Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with ethnically diverse groups of people
� Hold the Security Industry Authority (SIA) license
� Adventure Training/Physical Education/Life Skills training qualifications
� Possessing hobby skills that can be utilized within extra-curricular activities
� Previous employment and/or experience of youth groups
� Previous employment and/or experience in resource, leadership and initiative training
� Presentations/Public speaking experience
� Computer literate (Successful candidates will be required to complete the IC3 qualification within their first 6 month probation period)
� Previous employment within a Depot (Recruit) Training environment
� Employment or experience with youth groups such as Army Foundation College, junior leaders or cadets
� Experience/qualifications in the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme.
