Job Description
PAE is currently seeking a Chief of Security to support PAE’s Somalia Operations.
The Chief of Security will:
Work and operate with minimal supervision to ensure the 24/7 safety and security of PAE and USG assets and personnel.
Schedule and organize the guard shifts to ensure complete coverage of the areas of responsibility.
Be sensitive to events and individual behaviors within the community to advise management of the current security situations.
Interact with the local government agencies and populous on a daily basis.
Lead, mentor and motivate a guard force of 40-60 personnel daily.
Maintain responsibility for USG assets in and outside of the PAE Compounds in Africa.
Represent PAE and provide a positive image as a US Government Contractor at all times.
Liaise with Regional Security Forces concerning security matters of International Interests.
Provide Refresher Training to the members of the security section to maintain and sharpen skills.
Maintain and enforce the Rules, Regulations and policies of the company to include conducting investigations.
Maintain all files concerning administrative matters and investigations conducted by the Security Department.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of Security Training Experience is required.
Previous Military Experience is preferred.
Must have management experience, including security staff supervision.
Previous Africa experience is desired.
Must be Computer Literate.
Must possess experience in basic security procedures and training.
Perevious expereince in crime prevention, conducting investigations, fire prevention and basic legal knowledge are desired.
