Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a retired or former U.S. Army Special Forces Weapons Sergeant (18B), SSG to SFC, to serve as a Team Weapons Instructor that will provide training to the Albanian Special Operations Forces (SOF) Battalion to include training Operational Detachments and Battalion Staff in SOF core competencies, SOF MOS skills, and other supporting or enabling skills as required. This Mobile Training Team (MTT) is being provided as part of a Security Assistance Training Program that directly supports U.S. Foreign Policy and the execution of Department of Defense Security Cooperation Plans and Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a SOF Team Weapons Instructor, the candidate will serve on a training team that will deploy to Tallinn, Estonia to provide instruction and training to Estonia SOF personnel

The candidate will serve on an MTT that will train Estonian SOF Operators to a level equivalent to SF entry-level skill proficiency and prepare them for NATO operations

For over eleven years, AMERICAN SYSTEMS has supported the delivery of training services to foreign military personnel in support of U.S. foreign assistance programs. We offer a very competitive compensation and benefit package and there are no upfront out of pocket expenses for persons hired. All travel, transportation, and living expenses will be made and paid for by AMERICAN SYSTEMS. Work is performed five days per week at the Estonian SOF compound and other training sites. The individuals hired will be full-time salaried employees of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. There is no requirement/authorization to carry firearms outside of training requirements.

Position Requirements:
Secret Clearance required
Retired/former U.S. Army Special Forces Weapons Sergeant (18B) that held of the rank of SSG to SFC
Must have 10 years’ experience in respective MOS as a team member and deployed once within the past five years
Must be capable of moving 10 miles with a 50 lb. rucksack
Must be capable of conducting physical fitness training with Estonian Special Forces
Must pass an Army APFT (age appropriate) prior to deployment
Must meet U.S. Army height and weight standards
Must pass a comprehensive background check
Must have OEF or OIF experience within the past seven years
Must be knowledgeable of NATO SOF operational procedures
Must provide DD 214 to document experience and qualifications
Must present a professional military appearance and bearing
Must have successfully completed a medical physical exam within the last 12-months with no chronic conditions that would prevent performance of duties
Must present proof of recent (120 days) negative HIV test.
Must possess a current US Tourist Passport (Passport must not expire within 12-months of being hired)
Must be drug-free with ability to successfully pass drug screening test
Must possess the ability to effectively conduct cross-cultural communications and deliver training/instruction with the use of an interpreter
Must be able to wear the appropriate Army uniforms and meet grooming standards
Must possess a BS/BA degree or the equivalent military and or technical training
Must be a SELF-STARTER and work with little or no supervision after receiving the mission. Will understand the inherent challenges of training indigenous forces and be able to develop creative solutions to overcome those challenges

Background / Experience Requirements:
Prior experience teaching foreign militaries in various environments (classroom and field) presenting light infantry skills and SF MOS specific training
Prior experience as a military instructor in the related skill is highly desired
Prior experience developing military instructional material
Prior experience working with foreign military personnel in the Baltics is highly desired .
