Description
Based on its Contract of Work, Weda Bay Nickel is developing a world-class nickel and cobalt mining and hydrometallurgical processing project on the island of Halmahera, which is located in the North Maluku Province of the Republic of Indonesia.
This large-scale mining and ore processing project will be operated and managed by PT WBN, which is an Indonesian limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
PT WBN is owned by Singapore based company, Strand Minerals (Indonesia) PTE. LTD. (Strand) and the Indonesian state-owned mining Company PT (Persero) Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTAM).
Job Description:
Implement the company's security policies, procedures, programmes, and systems for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguard of the organisation's facilities, equipment, and materials, in order to ensure personnel and property protection.
Designs and implements organisation's security policies, procedures, programmes, and strategies
relating to security, including but not limited to, internal investigations, executive protection, workplace violence, technological protection systems, building security, contract guard force management, proprietary information protection, and crisis management.
Coordinate and administer security clearances.
Manage loss prevention, safety incident loss, and crime management function.
Monitor safety standards and maintenance of local community relationships.
Manage teams of security professionals. Requirements
Bachelors degree in military/army/etc
At least 10 years working experience in security field, including in mining company
Experience in cross-cultural teams an advantage
Having comprehensive knowledge, experience and commitment in emergency response, security, HSE, including systems implementation in high-risk environments.
Experience in the establishment and implementation of high-level strategic crisis emergency management, emergency response, HSE, community relations and security systems.
Strong knowledge and experience with incident analysis and investigative skills
Excellent facilitation and instructional ability
Advanced communication skills.
Strong English skill
Willing to work in site Halmahera with roster 5:2
