Job Description
-Provide reliable and frequent expert advice matters pertaining to the integration of law enforcement capabilities into Security Force Assistance operations and theory. -Interface with both international and host nation LE elements to enable relevant analysis and recommendations to the CAAT Commander on police-related issues at multiple echelons. -Provide analysis and recommended courses of action including but not limited to National and Local police training equipment and manpower. -Synchronization of the nations police forces with the military for operational efficiency and effects based analysis of the counter narcotics initiatives currently underway in the AF-PAK Area of Operations. Required Hours
Anticipate working 8 hours a day 7 days a week.

Required Qualifications
-15 years of law enforcement experience including at least three years in senior supervisory positions -equivalent to military O4-GS13 or above with United States Federal State Local Law Enforcement or equivalent coalition partner nation expertise. -Minimum of one year of recent and direct experience in training and advising Afghan National level police agencies and a demonstrated understanding of US inter-agency and ISAF operations and procedures particularly as they apply to law enforcement training of the Afghan National Security Forces. -As clear concise reporting is a critical mission requirement the Police Advisor shall demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities. -At least six months of recent experience within the last 4 years working with ISAF. -Security Clearance. Contingent upon contract award, anticipated start of work is July 2014. Anticipated that arms will be authorized for this position.
