Job Description
This position is contingent upon contract award scheduled for mid-year 2014 · Receives authority from and reports directly to the Company’s Country Manager/TABLErogram Manager (PM) · Uses, develops and/or applies proven methodologies that assure all activities are identified, documented, and tracked so that the contract will continuously be evaluated and monitored for timely and high quality service. · Accountable to the PM for the management of security operations for PMO and Company personnel at Company housing locations. · Analyzes expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets to improve services. · Sets operations policies and standards, including determining safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods. · Plans, organizes, or manages work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner
consistent with organizational requirements. · Negotiates and authorizes contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment. · Collaborates with other managers or staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives. · Monitors spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets. · Creates or implements security standards, policies, and procedures. · Plans, directs, or coordinates security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property. · Supervises any subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining. · Analyzes and evaluates security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement. · Collects and analyzes security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments. · Communicates security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols. · Conducts physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. · Conducts, supports, or assists in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes. · Monitors security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives. · Identifies, investigates, or resolves security breaches
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or significant experience (10 years) as a security manager, with 3 years of experience in remote austere environments.
CLEARANCE: Secret
LANGUAGE SKILLS: ·
Fluent written and spoken English · Working knowledge of spoken Arabic highly desirable
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE: · Minimum 10 years progressively responsible logistics, security, and/or life support operational management experience with minimum five years experience in large facilities · Minimum three years experience with U.S. Government in oversees facilities/life support operations. · Experience as a military officer or equivalent, preferably in OCONUS environments, is particularly desirable. · Professional experience in Middle East desirable · Excellent oral and written presentation skills with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Demonstrated staff management, project management, and life support mission/contract fulfillment. OTHER DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Holds valid U.S. driver’s license.
