Salary: The total salary package for this position is £39,384 - £42,972 per annum* (circa $65,000 - $71,000 USD) including basic salary, hardship allowance and cost of living allowance.

Role:
MAG is currently recruiting for a Security Coordinator for our South Sudan Programme. In this role the successful candidate will act as a focal point for collection and dissemination of security information and will be responsible for developing and delivering a functioning security management system.
Qualifications and Experience:
A solid understanding of NGO security management is a key requirement for the role, as is effective communication with external partners.
The successful candidate will also have considerable experience of security planning and implementation, preferably gained in the context of relief operations in insecure areas.
Candidates should also have experience and knowledge of the South Sudan context and the ability to analyse the changing security environment is essential.
In addition, you must have proven excellence in communication and liaison skills with an awareness of diplomacy and tact.
