Security Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a Security/Emergency Services Manager to join our Security and Emergency Services team, working with blue chip clientele in Whyalla, South Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative, operational and stakeholder management
of Security Officers and Emergency Services Officers within a mining and manufacturing environment.
The Security Manager will have extensive experience in managing teams in addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Security, Rescue and/or Medical qualifications are essential.
Primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Managing internal/external stakeholders
• Managing small teams
• Compliance auditing
• Training
• Incident Response and Management
• Rostering
• Developing and updating site procedures
• Recruitment, induction, training and performance management of security and emergency services officers
• Prepare reports, briefs and tenders to present to stakeholders
The successful applicant will:
• Have extensive experience leading teams
• Have qualifications in one or more of the following: Security/Rescue/Fire/Medical
• Hold a current SA drivers licence (MR preferable)
• Be well versed in relevant Legislation
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet time frames
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
