Job Summary
 The Security Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and technical guidance to DynCorp International (DI) WRM management and employees on the proper completion and process for Government’s installation credentialing standards under the Defense Biometric Identification System
(DBIDS) program at WRM Thumrait, Oman work site. 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Liaise with 405th Commander’s Personnel Support for Contingency Operations (PERSCO) staff to ensure DBIDS applications are completed and processed in accordance with DoD and USCENTCOM guidance and expectations.
  • Ensure each DI WRM employee and contractor applicants properly complete the Installation Access Application (IAA) and associated document package as required.
  • Coordinate with HR and/or site support to obtain the required IAA supporting documents.
  • Track and monitor applicant IAA packages and inform site manager of any systemic issues or delays with the established DBIDS process.
  • Maintain close supervision of Foreign and Local Nationals and others requiring a security escort when transiting through Government restricted areas during the DBIDS process.
  • Provide and brief employees and contractors under security escort on the rules prior to entering Government controlled sites.
  • Ensure escorted employees or contractors wear the appropriate badge at ALL times on their upper torso.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the corporate security policies, WRM SOPs and WIs and ensures compliance with the NISPOM, Government directives and PWS or contractual requirements.
  • Report suspicious activities to USG Government or Host Nation Security Forces as required.
  • Provide written reports as required.
  • All duties are performed in accordance with DynCorp ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards
  • Perform other qualified security duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
  • Valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain a host nation driver’s license
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission light vehicles
  • Fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for this Public Trust position.
  • Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft office and Outlook.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Escort certification as required.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a US Passport.
  • Must possess a valid US Drivers.
Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in security or administrative related field with one (1) year in DBIDS Installation Access Control/Pass and Registration office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with military, DoD, multinational company and/or in middle east environment preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Work is typically in an office environment however may include work in the out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions and under adverse conditions.
  • Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting.
  • Must be physical fit without impediment or need for medical accommodation; Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required. In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered.
  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to potential hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of the possible requirement to move on short notice and under adverse conditions.
Travel
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
