Regional Physical Security Manager

We are currently looking for a highly experienced candidate to join our business, who can provide subject matter expertise on a broad range of physical security related matters. Based in Sydney, this role will have regional responsibility throughout the APAC region.

Responsibilities for this role will include:
•Co-ordinate the design and installation of physical security systems for Verizon sites in Asia Pacific region
•Co-ordinate physical security system repairs, maintenance and upgrades across the region
•Coordinate regional site security reviews and maintain physical security database
•Prepare and manage physical security budgets
•Co-ordinate annual SSAE 16 and customer led audits, assist with Government security accreditations and compliance inspections
•Implement and maintain standardised security processes for Asia Pac Data Centers
•Implement and manage regional Security Guard metrics and reporting
•Review and maintain Physical security standards documentation
Qualifications: To be considered for this position you will have:
•Previous relevant experience working with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector organisation
•Exposure to working within the international security arena
•Ability to influence at all levels, across all audiences and the skills to build strong working relationships
•Demonstrated ability to think and work strategically
•Demonstrated ability to deliver well written, succinct but comprehensive reports within agreed timeframes
•High levels of integrity, exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
•Be in a position to travel within region as required
Additional Qualifications: 1. Hold a current Australian Government security clearacne (NV1)
2. Completed ASIO T4 Security Practitioners Course or SCEC accreditation
