Job Introduction:
G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leading global integrated security solutions company, has a vacancy for a Fleet Manager, based in Hatfield - Pretoria.
Reporting to the National Procurement Manger, the Fleet Manager is responsible for the effective management of the fleet costs and associated controls.The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which Fleet management plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

Role Responsibility:
The efficient and cost effective management of the vehicle procurement process
Review procurement needs of the company and status of vehicle on disposal list
Source and prepare vehicle procurement requirements
Review fleet requirements and procure vehicles to meet requirements
Manage vehicle disposal process
Perform RFP & Tender Processes

Management of the overall fleet, focusing on effective asset management
Review, manage and maintain vehicle database
Manage fuel card procedures and ordering requirements
Facilitate asset verification (physical)
Manage Fleet Service Providers and Suppliers around SLAs, requirements and deficiencies
Manage Contracts and Service Level Agreements on all providers
Manage and control FML kilometres for fleet vehicles within reporting guidelines
Manage maintenance of owned vehicles within procedures and guidelines
Manage Fines process and procedures

Management of fleet costs and the implementation and monitoring of control mechanisms
Design, implement and manage drive savings & monitor Cost-controllers
Manage Vehicle monitoring equipment & process with a view to developing management information and report
Manage and report on fuel spend
Maintain and update vehicle savings reports
Financial reporting for trade reviews and additional requirements

Development and monitoring of reports associated with management information on the fleet
Develop and implement Management Dashboard reporting
Overview and review of System Management
Exception Management (parameters) – and reporting of such to responsible managers
Full monthly Fleet reporting

The Ideal Candidate:
Diploma in Logistics or Fleet Management recommended
Financial qualification advantageous
Studies in the areas of Chain Supply, Logistics, or Procurement would be recommended
Computer Literacy in MS Office packages, specifically Excel, essential
