Summary
The Director develops and provides comprehensive security management and internal
investigations solutions to ensure the security and safety of our assets, associates, and interests in Alabang, Philippines and the greater Manila area as well as providing security consulting and risk management services for the organization’s interests throughout Asia, notably in India. Performs complex security and internal investigations work and may supervise directly, or indirectly, security staff members across various security engagements. The Director leads security projects of high technical complexity and high risk profile and is viewed as an authority in his or her area of expertise. He or she is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior management in area of responsibility, as well as interacting with external stakeholders such as external security experts and regulators. The Director consults with various Lines of Business
(LOB) on security risks associated with third party management, manages or conducts security and investigation projects, provides input to regional strategic planning, and provides training, coaching and supervision to internal staff. The Director, maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards, works independently under minimal supervision, and is able to exercise extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Responsibilites:
Provides subject matter expertise to internal Corporate Security Services (CSS)
clients and external clients across our client's company as needed.

Provides advice and counsel to management on complex physical security, internal
fraud investigations or prevention, life safety risk, crisis management, and emergency response issues.

May have higher level of participation in recruiting members of the organization as
well as responsibilities for on-the-job coaching, supervising and evaluating others.

Performs other related work as assigned by the Sr. Director or Vice President,
Corporate Security Services.

May serve as a valuable mentor, as expertise and area-specific knowledge are
recognized by peers and subordinates wishing to pursue a specialty area.

Works independently with low levels of guidance from manager.

Assists in establishing development plans for other security staff, identifying their
development needs for their current job as well as their future career objectives

Designs and executes complex physical security, life safety or crisis management
projects requiring specialized expertise with higher levels of risk.

Serves as one of the foremost authorities within in his or her area(s) of expertise, with
the ability to provide quality, value-added management consulting services to complex business and/or across several business units.

Forges partnerships with Corporate Security Services colleagues and external clients
on the safety-related programs that he/she manages.

Effectively influences others across the organization in order to effectively implement
programs.

Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with executive management in
area(s) of responsibility.

Develops a personal network of people who are industry/business experts, drawing on
the experience of others to learn more about the organization.

Designs and presents strategic plans for the services and programs for which he/she
is responsible.

Executes Plan of Work and strategic plan as it affects the programs he/she manages.
Assists senior management in monitoring progress against Plan of Work and strategic plan
.
Effectively identifies and plans capital expenditures required to mitigate safety risk and
to communicate a business case to third party stakeholders.

Enters service hours into tracking system. Collects metrics from different sources and
reports metrics as needed. Distributes reports to customers as needed.

development opportunities.

Ensures work performed meets or exceeds established quality standards and
establishes review processes to ensure adherence.

Competencies/Abilites

Eight years of security management, investigations, internal auditing or security risk
consulting experience in a financial services environment encompassing multiple facilities in diverse geography

Experience in the planning and management of integrated physical security and life
safety systems

Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, or equivalent work experience

Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Criminal Justice

Ten or more years of security management, investigations, internal auditing or
security risk consulting experience in a financial services environment

Professional certification in area of expertise (e.g. Certified Protection Professional,
Certified Physical Security Professional, Certified Crisis Management Professional) or must complete certification requirements within 18 months of hire

Strong computer skills to include working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

Strong knowledge of integrated physical security, life safety, and emergency
messaging systems

International experience preferred, Philippines experience highly preferred
