Job Description
Act as an asymmetric warfare (AW) counter improvised explosive defeat (CIED) trainer and support the home station training capability for a DoD client. Support the counter-IED integration cell (CI2C) and provide government site CIED subject matter training expertise. Develop CIED training program to integrate, plan, synchronize, coordinate, and facilitate all live, virtual, constructive, and gaming CIED assets into home station training. Serve as the primary instructor for route clearance training and the subject matter expert for route security equipment and patrol training courses for DoD client. Preform classroom instruction and practical applications in a field environment and CTC rotations. Act as a backup instructor for IED awareness, hand held detectors, and biometrics. This position is located in Baumholder, Germany.
Qualifications
Base Qualifications:
-6+ years of experience with Military
-Experience with conducting mounted engineer route clearance patrols
-Experience with homemade explosive awareness and IED awareness
-Experience with hand held detectors in a dismounted environment
-Experience with military rank, E-7, O3, or above
-Experience with route clearance during deployment to OIF, OEF, or OND
-Knowledge of current mounted and dismounted operations
-Ability to teach tactical site exploitation, including IED awareness and HME awareness
-Secret clearance required
Additional Qualifications
-Experience as an Army or Marine Combat Engineer Officer or senior NCO preferred
-AA or AS degree preferred
