Tasks and Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Field Officer and National Security Officer incumbent performs the following duties:
performs the tasks related to ensuring the security and protection of persons and property at the Office;
watches/monitor permanently the premises of the Office;
ensures the operation of security video-surveillance system, security alarm system, fire alarm system, generator, as well as office heating system;
receives and delivers the pouch, follows simple building maintenance problems.
Necessary Qualifications
Completed secondary education, trainings related to the position;
Minimum two years of military/police service or two years of related work experience as a security guard preferably in an international organizations;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Russian and Kyrgyz, working knowledge of English is an asset;
Ability to work with people of different nationality, religion and cultural background;
Knowledge of basic security methods and practices to perform the limited intervention assignments;
Basic knowledge of fire fighting and defensive actions;
Training with the military or police would be an asset;
Knowledge of security and safety regulations, procedures and methods;
Ability to communicate effectively and with tact;
Physical fitness and driver's license.
Remuneration Package
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 428.66 Euro/month. Social benefits will include Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe participation in the Vanbreda medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions.
