Tasks and Responsibilities
Development of opportunities: Support business development colleagues across the Americas Region in identifying and advancing client opportunities. This specifically involves the provision of technical knowledge on client telephone calls and face-to-face meetings.
Scoping of services: Production of detailed technical proposals that accurately define the scope of services that Control Risks will provide to the client.
Service Delivery: This is the main part of the role, excellence in the delivery of security risk management solutions to Control Risks’ clients. This involves travelling to client business locations across Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and the production of crafted reports and presentations of findings. Consultants also regularly deliver training to clients. The ability to work in a team and to cooperate with colleagues from other business areas in crucial to success.
Administration: Consultants are responsible for the administration of opportunities in Control Risks’ client and engagement management systems. Timely entry of information and post engagement invoicing is critical for success in this role.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Fluency in English and Spanish languages
Experience of living and working in Mexico and/or Central America
Strong knowledge of Latin American current affairs
Superior writing skills
Strong interpersonal communications and client facing skills
Preferred
Experience in security risk or crisis management consulting
Qualifications and Specialist Skills
Essential
First degree
Sound judgment and the ability to think and act under pressure
Preferred
Master’s degree
