Job Description
The Security Manager, India is accountable for implementing and directing the country security program following Global Security standards; providing consultation in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes to reduce financial loss to the Company.

This role develops and ensures services in response to criminal financial loss, crimes against persons, sabotage, threats, emergencies, illegal acts, and property or environmental crimes. Researches and deploys state of the art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to provide total asset protection for Company assets. Participates in and occasionally directs the approach, deployment and execution of investigations.

Develops close relationships with high level law enforcement agencies, security agencies, and private sector counterparts across India while guiding development of these same relationships for Facility Security OwnersTo learn more about this career path,

Responsibilities
· Implements the corporate security program across India in accordance with global standards and needs of the local business units.
· Ongoing interaction with the HR managers to ensure security delivery meets their needs.
· Assists with providing security consultation and training to all HR managers in the region as needed.
· Provide geo-political analysis and strong support for travel security programmes
· Consultation for crisis management and business continuity planning as it relates to security.
· Provides direction and guidance to Security Representatives on the latest Global Security programs and processes.
· Provides direction for and completion of Asset Protection Rating assessments for the geographical region ensuring all Company facilities maintain the appropriate level of security.
· Deploys training programs for Facility Security Owners and Physical Security Owners.
· Provide direction on Fraud issues as it relates to investigative follow-up and partnering with HR, Legal and Internal Audit.
· Ensures established security processes and procedures are communicated/implemented across all sites within India.
· Regular interface with internal business partners, such as: Internal Audit, Real Estate, Quality Assurance, Corporate Facilities Engineering, etc, and external partners
· Provides consultation for security of Company product shipments.

Qualifications
5-7 years commercial security experience, with an understanding of both strategic and operational security processes.
· Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
· Strong networks within government and law enforcement - a specific background within these areas is not necessary.
· Experience of analyzing intelligence and geo-political risks.
· Proven leadership ability - can lead projects, work autonomously to bring definition to open ended business situations.
· Able to work effectively in politically charged situations leading to appropriate solutions.
· Must be decisive and tough when needed; always employing appropriate diplomacy.
· Outstanding communication skills; able to communicate concisely in oral and written manner.
· Requires a track record of effective communication with all levels of internal management and external parties.
· Demonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of customers, over a sustained period of time.
