Force Protection Operations Center (FPOC) Supervisor

Job Summary
The Force Protection Operations Center (FPOC) Supervisor shall supervise and coordinate staff security functions for their assigned shift at Task Force Falcon. The Force Protection Operations Center (FPOC) serve as a deterrent and secures personnel and assets by standing guard or conducting patrols within secure premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of the rules.
Principle Accountabilities
Supervises daily activities of assigned staff to ensure efficiencies in compliance with corporate government contractual and legal requirements.
Disseminate Force Protection information to workforce; ensure personnel comply with all military
OPSEC and Force Protection rules and regulations.
Implements and ensures proper security procedures are followed in accordance with the military regulations, DI’s policy and procedures and other applicable government regulations and directives .
Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel
Assist Site Manager as required.
Meets with security counterparts to facilitate implementing security program
Audits and initiates procedures to improve the existing security system as deemed necessary
Prepares, maintains and reports detailed records pertaining to control of classified matters, safes, keys, personnel clearance, badges, etc
Consults to various levels of management on military and contractor security issues
Conducts inspections to review security procedures; conduct security education training
Supervises and trains employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
Supervises all duties of Armed Guard Post Supervisors, Armed Security Guards, Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Operators, and Unarmed Guards.
Fosters a cooperative work environment.
Provides written & oral briefing information to senior management.
Gives security education and instructional presentations.
Articulates with little guidance the security mission to site management and coordinate with the client and other government agencies to include host nation agencies.
Implements and directs physical security postures and basic personal protection escorting missions.
Support and facilitate the security department local force protection posture and program.
Provides timely and accurate reports related to security incidents.
Works flexible shifts in the event of unexpected absences.
May be assigned other duties as needed.

Must be Level 7—Fully-English Proficient.
Effective leadership, planning, decision-making, scheduling and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience & Education
Two (2) years experience in security, law enforcement administration, or operations in the armed forces, civilian police, or commercial security agencies within the past Five (5) years. (Verification of experience, such as pay records and/or military records, must be provided)
Must have experience monitoring shift activities and complete accurate logs
Completion of a State recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or the completion of an armed forces security or law enforcement training program. (Verification of training, such as a training certificate or DD214 must be provided)
Four (4) or more years experience in related security or law enforcement management environment.
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years experience in related field can be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Must have vision correctable to 20/30, free of Color Blindness, and have acceptable hearing.
Physically able to successfully complete the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test as follows: There are three events which are measured: push-ups, sit-ups, and a timed two-mile run. Personnel are required to score a minimum of 60 points on each event. The test is administered in accordance with the procedures detailed in Chapter 14 of Army Field Manual 21-20, Physical Fitness Training.
Physically and technically capable of successfully completing the US Army Weapons Qualification Test as follows:
Rifle Marksmanship – M16A1, M16A2/3, M16A4 and M4 CARBINE: Twenty rounds will be fired from the foxhole supported and twenty rounds will be fired from the prone unsupported firing positions. Each guard must hit a minimum of 23 out of 40 target exposures at ranges from 50 to 300 meters. The test is administered in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Army Field Manual 3-22.9, Rifle Marksmanship.
Combat Pistol Qualification Course – M9 Piston:
Day Course of Fire: 40 Rounds will be fired during the Day Time course of fire. Each guard must hit a minimum of 18 out of 40 target exposures at ranges from 7 to 31 meters.
Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Course of Fire: 30 Rounds will be fired while wearing the issued Chemical & Biological Protective Mask. Each guard must hit a minimum of 7 of the 30 target exposures at ranges from 7 to 31 meters.
Night Time Course of Fire: 30 Rounds will be fired during reduced lighting conditions. Each guard must hit a minimum of 5 out of 30 target exposures at ranges from 7 to 31 meters
This test is administered in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Army Field Manual 3-23-35, Appendix A, Combat Pistol Qualification Course.
Must meet all physical, medical and other requirements for overseas deployment in accordance with current customer requirements.
Travel
May require some travel in the country of employ as needed.
