As the Security Control Officer for this large corporate Manufacturing company, you will be responsible for managing the personnel on shift duty.
Manage facilities protection function.
Implement policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support to the Head of Protection Services.
Manage the performance of team members.
Conduct workplace assessments.
Manage the firearms of personnel who work shifts.
Requirements for this position:
You must have a National Diploma in Security Management or equivalent
Credible experience in the field of security of which at least 3 to 5 years should be in a security supervisory capacity
Ability to work shifts
Must be computer literate
Competence in handling firearms
Experience in operating the Main Security Control room
Sound knowledge of the National Key Points Act, 1980 (Act No. 102 of 1980), directive security standards and systems, relevant legislation
South African qualifications Authority assessor training
Positive security clearance
Valid Code 8 drivers license
