Job Description:
The Security Team Leader is responsible for supervising the Security colleagues working on the hotel premises and ensures the implementation of all security and safety policies and standards.
General Responsibilities Include:
Investigates and prepares reports of all incidents and accidents occurring in the hotel
Ensures all security colleagues are aware of threats of breaches of security and act according to their individual responsibilities to detect and avert such threats
Oversees the scheduling of all security colleagues to ensure maximum security coverage and productivity
Maintains accurate security inventories on a daily basis and ensures that checklists and guard’s log books are properly maintained
Responds to emergency calls in line with the standards and procedures of the Emergency Response Team
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Excellent English and Arabic communication skills
Excellent communication skills in dealing with the authorities
Knowledge of security equipments and procedures
Proficiency in the use of computers in preparing reports and presentations
Qualification Standards:
Education: High school certificate or equivalent
Experience: Needs to have a minimum of three years experience as a Security team Leader, preferably in a five star hotel in the Middle East
Licenses or Certificates: Certified Security professional with a valid life saving and qualified first aider certification
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
