We are currently recruiting for a Project Security Supervisor for an Oil and Gas Project in Iraq. Candidates must be capable of leading and commanding the respect of a large body of men and be able to exercise discipline and the maintenance of high performance standards. The candidate will have extensive experience of operating in Iraq and the ability to work under pressure and to demanding timelines. They must possess tact, judgment and the ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing in the English language.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Ensuring Policy in accordance with Iraqi Law and Policies
Ensuring all training and personnel records are maintained for all security contractor personnel
Ensuring all Site Security plans are implemented/updated/revised and tested on a periodic basis
Implement and maintain a journey management plan
Ensuring all security contractor rotational/leave and sick patterns are carried out
Ensuring any manpower deficiencies are reported to the client and dealt with immediately
Manage and coordinate all communications and Control Room requirements
Assess and supervise any local security arrangements
Develop, oversee and implement Guard Force orders where required
Develop reporting procedures for security incidents
Assist in development of evacuation and medical plans
Liaison and coordination with Client personnel
Day to day management of the Security personnel for all guarding commitments
Assist with management of site security and safety systems
Produce and implement Security Standard Operating Procedures to include Site Security, Rules of Engagement (RoE), Defensive Positions and Quick Reaction Force (QRF) procedures;
Regularly make recommendations leading to a state of continuous improvement and constant security enhancements
To be considered for the role candidates must have:
Minimum of 10 years exemplary military experience
A minimum of Senior Non Commissioned Officer or above
Minimum of 5 years Iraq experience is highly desirable
Must be a qualified medic
