Responsibilities
Operational guidance and coordination of the assigned main task
- is responsible for the planning and organization of operations and 100% HBS, the dagplanningen for SIs or sends them to a function of sick leave, additional assignments, unexpected situations, ...
- takes supervision of the service execution where the Security Inspectors and staff of the subcontractor during the service performance
- ensures that the service is conducted in accordance with the issued proceedings "Airport Inspection Security"
- take corrective actions if existing procedures are not known or not correctly implemented by the Security Inspectors or the staff of the subcontractor
- increases daily knowledge of new instructions, ensures the communication of these instructions to the Security Inspectors and agents of the subcontractor through daily briefings (based demonstrations)
- fits briefings in function of the operational set shortcomings in security officers, collaborates with the Security Quality Manager
- handles the incoming fax and telephone calls, follow additional instructions on using the log and e-mail
- represents the department outside normal business hours and in the absence of the Security Officers within the framework of specialization and where appropriate take the necessary operational decisions
- supervises the proper handling of rejected / dangerous objects on the SRA (Security Restricted Areas) - and CPSRA (Critical Parts of Security Restricted Areas) posts, takes decisions (eg objects not on the EU list 68/2004, vehicles search EU list 240/2006)
- keeps the toolkit lists up to date
- follow the staff at the various items and take necessary corrective measures
- organizes the monitoring of arms transfers IN / OUT
- ensures the proper functioning of the service to the redemption and briefs the colleagues about all relevant events during the shift
- coordinates the guidance of valuables
- take part in the daily Operational Briefings below DM
- gives his approval (stamp) for the temporary visitor badges to the non-public side of the airport
- to coordinate VIP movements (EU summit, NATO summit) on General Aviation (close parking)
Quality and Incident Management
- works on internal quality through ongoing evaluations of the task performances of the security guards on the premises, shall immediately take corrective action in case of failures
- reported data on failures to the respective Security Officer and to the Security Quality Manager
- take the necessary actions in case of incidents (bomb threat, etc.), estimate the severity and whether or not immediately report to the respective Security Officers and the Head of Security
- allows records to take the necessary measures and inform investigations following the establishment of breaches of aviation legislation on access and / or security, incidents or complaints from passengers, purpose, it uses the available technical resources
- prepares elements in response to possible complaints letters
- monitors the proper functioning of the safety devices and take the necessary actions in case of failure by the procedures (alerts the technical services, enables damage reports)
- takes in consultation with the local management measures in case of technical problems (failure electricity failure screening equipment failure access security, ...)
- monitors the fleet (maintenance, refueling, cleaning vehicles, ...)
- is responsible for arms control (in / out service weapons) of the staff of the LHI / Security
Complaints
- acts conflict with passengers and / or staff according to local procedures
- treats first-line complaints from passengers, airlines, staff, ... and escalates if necessary to hierarchical superior
Administration
- daily reports all incidents, patrol reports, corrective actions, daily statistics, claims, anomalies, ... that occurred during the service performance to the Security Officer Operations/100% HBS
- manages and makes monitoring of logistical tasks entrusted (VIP lists, statistics, ...)
Knowledge / Experience
• Knowledge level Higher Secondary Education or equivalent experience
• Mandate of Inspector of the Inspectorate Airport - Protection rating according to the RD of 04/05/99, concerning the training and certifictievoorwaarden of Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors Head of Airport Inspection
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the field of Aviation and Airport Security
• Knowledge of aerospace and arms legislation
• Thorough knowledge of procedures for Airport Inspection Security
• Thorough knowledge of the topography of the airport
• Knowledge of the various airlines and handling companies
• Knowledge of the techniques for frisking , patrolling, preparation of records, identity checks
• Airport Driving Airside
• Training and discipline in armed patrol
• Thorough knowledge of all safety and operation
• Knowledge of common software and thorough knowledge of the use and capabilities of the specific software
• Thorough knowledge of spoken and written Dutch (drafting PVs), spoken knowledge of the second language and English
