As a Ship’s Tactical Officer with GoAGT Ltd. you will provide vessel protection to our clients whilst providing them with professional advice and support in the event of any threat to the vessel security.
Act as both representative and agent for GoAGT Ltd. during the duration of the transit and whilst in port
Advise the Vessel Master on intelligence and maritime security standards
Act as the lead for any incident that may threaten vessel security in conjunction with the Master’s requirements
Relay operational and commercial information to GoAGT Ltd. HQ Operations
Boost morale and provide reassurance for the ship’s company through presence aboard the protected vessel
Provide proactive crew training, briefing and drilling in anti–piracy related procedures
You must be physically fit, able to work long hours in arduous conditions whilst on deployment and be able to complete the company’s fitness tests if and when required. You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to work with your colleagues and clients of different nationalities.

The following qualifications are essential:
- A naval or maritime security background
- Proven leadership skills gained in a high-risk environment
- Good communication skills with an excellent command of spoken and written English
- Recent experience of a variety of weapons systems
- Proven computer usage and other communications systems ability
- Current ENG 1 medical
- Seaman’s Card/Discharge Book
- Current CRB Check
- STCW95 certificates – 4 Modules
- Certificate of Vaccination including Yellow Fever
- A copy of your military/naval discharge papers
- Firearms Certificate
- First Aid – Trauma
- Ship Security Officer certificate (If Applicable)
- Anti – Piracy awareness certificate (If Applicable)
