Border Security Project Manager , UAE

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has an opportunity for a Border Security Project Manager to provide international consulting services for planning, managing and implementing a major Systems Integration and Engineering Program Management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join and work with a world class team of interdisciplinary professionals. The work will be performed in the Persian/Arabian Gulf Region.

SAIC will be implementing an overseas Program Management Office (PMO) project providing oversight for a major Middle Eastern homeland security project. The PMO will span a wide variety of work areas including (not limited to) C4I, training, project control, systems integration and civil works.

This key individual will provide expertise:
- Overseeing the delivery of all contractual commitments related to the Border Security project, the integration of all components that are necessary for the successful delivery of the SIE project, all C4ISR, IT, CONOPS, Communications, Training, and Configuration Management project components within the project necessary to achieve its strategic goals.
- Interfacing with the System Engineering Integrated Project Team (SE IPT) in order to ensure the previously mentioned components are implemented and integrated as planned, interface and coordinate with internal service providers to ensure timely availability of delivery throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Taking responsibility for the final deliverables signoff and acceptance, payment release for all project tasks related to technology, Civil Works, and other areas related to the project.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years demonstrated related experience in General Program Management and PMP Certification.
- Proven expertise or knowledge of Leadership experience in program management and strong working knowledge of PMBOK and PM Practices.
- Ability to ensure preparation and submission of financial and admin related reports regarding the project in a timely manner and perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the PM.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Driven and motivated to achieve results and customer satisfaction
- Education: B.A. Business Administration or related field; Post-graduate in Business Administration or related field.
- Able to work in the region for two to four years
- Able to obtain a driver’s license in the designated area
- Able to work a Saturday through Wednesday work week.
