Roles and Responsibilities:
As a retired and/or former EOD Specialist (89D), applicant will serve as a Senior Instructor to provide training to the Iraq Regional Brigade. This Security Assistance Training Team is being provided to the Iraq Army in support of increasing the capabilities of the Iraqi Armed Forces. In this role applicant will serve as the Primary Course Instructor, and be responsible to:
Develop Program of Instruction and Lesson Plans;
Conduct AIT modeled training and New Equipment Training (NET);
Advise and help each Brigade to accept, operate and maintain all the RGB equipment;
Advise and help each Brigade in forming their operational units and sections; and
Submit reports and after action reports.
There is no requirement/authorization to carry firearms in this role.
Required Skills and Experience:
Applicant shall have been qualified in a U.S. Army EOD Specialist Military Occupational Skill (89D) at the grade of E-7 or above.
Must have experience as a U.S. Army or Military Instructor. Preference given to applicants who possess this experience within the related skill.
Prior experience developing military instructional material.
Prior experience working with and training foreign military personnel is highly desired.
Must have experience as an ILAV driver and operator.
Applicant must possess demonstrated prior experience and maintain the ability to effectively conduct cross-cultural communications and deliver training/instruction with the use of an interpreter.
Additional Requirements
Must be physically fit with ability to present a professional military appearance and bearing.
C-JTSCC 952.225-0009 Medical Screening And Vaccination Requirements For Contractor Employees Operating In The CENTCOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR)(Aug 2011).
Ability to present proof of recent negative HIV test.
Must possess a current US Tourist Passport, which will not expire within 14 months of being hired.
Candidate must be drug-free with ability to successfully pass drug screening test.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
