Description
Northrop Grumman is seeking a former senior NCO or Warrant Officer to train Iraqi soldiers in a Advanced Individual Training (AIT)-level Small Arms Repairer Course at the Zeravani Training Center in Beneslawa, Iraq (northeast Iraq). Duration of this task order is approximately one year.
This position is part of a 29-man team of instructors and Kurdish interpreters that will train Iraqi soldiers in a wide array of Military Occupational Specialties. The team will live at the US Consulate’s Erbil Diplomatic Support Center in Erbil, Iraq, and train Iraqi Army units at the Zeravani Military Training Center in Binaslawa, Iraq. The skill level sought from this training will enable Iraqi soldiers to integrate into their units and work independently in their Military Occupational Specialties after they have completed training.

Must have experience repairing small arms using the Repairman’s Small Arms Tool Kit and other repair equipment items purchased for the Iraq Army Regional Guard Brigade. Applicants must have experience in the following Army Military Operational Specialty (MOS) or military equivalent: 91F, Small Arms Repairer. Applicants must also have experience as a US Army or Military Instructor.

Additional duties may include: Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine. May have specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises, including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Must possess an active U.S. Passport or be eligible to receive one.
3. Must be able to pass all requirements of the National Deployment Center (NDC) in order to deploy to Iraq.
4. Bachelor’s Degree, or years of relevant work experience in lieu of also considered.
5. Must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to the job description above.
6. Must possess the MOS 91F or service equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Currently in Theatre
2. Previous experience in Theatre
3. Instructor Certified
4. Active U.S. Passport
5. Recent NDC Completion.
