This is a unique and specialist role that will require the individual to have specialist knowledge and training to act as the companies ‘trusted contact’ for government security agencies. This is a critical and key role within the company where the individual will be expected to forge and manage effective working relationships with a wide range of disciplines both and internally and externally. One of the fundamental aspects of this role is dealing with what is highly confidential, sensitive and private information.
You will become the company’s resilience and security specialist for all of the national and international issues. You will be involved in taking the feedback, advice and help to deliver policies and procedures to water industry. Emergency planning is a key aspect as well as contingency planning. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the business continuity manuals.
Although predominately office based you be required to attend council, police and government resilience meetings.
To be considered for this role you must have experience of emergency planning and security issues as well as being used to contingency planning. You will also be an expert in Stakeholder management and have a full driving licence.
