Job Description
Designated Defensive Marksman (DDM):
· U.S. Citizen/TCN/LN, as specified in the Task Order.
· Level 3 English proficiency (see Exhibit A).
· Three (3) years’ experience as a military sniper or police sharpshooter.
· Completed or served at least three (3) years in military, law enforcement, or executive commercial protection.
· One (1) year of experience shall have been obtained in personal protection security or emergency services assignments with demonstrated skills as outlined in Exhibit E (DC Training Curriculum) of this contract.
· Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services that require skills similar to those outlined in contract.
· Shall provide evidence of minimum M4 Qualification of 95% (285 out of 300) or better on the DS qualification course of fire.
· Shall provide evidence of completion from an accredited Sniper School.
· Graduate of a U.S. Military Sniper School (and subsequent MOS designation notated on DD214) or certified Law Enforcement Sniper School.
· Advanced knowledge/skills of rifle marksmanship are requisite, preferably .30 caliber or higher.
· Advance knowledge/sills of rifle marksmanship will include a minimum of 600 yard qualification, ability to read wind, trace and hit movers.
