Maritime security - Vessel Protection Officers

Gemini Maritime Ltd is committed to providing our clients with the best possible service and this is very much to do with the quality and experience of our deployed teams. As such we have a strict recruiting criteria for candidates.

As a maritime security provider we only recruit personnel with the relevant maritime backgrounds and after a stringent vetting procedure. Our personnel are recruited from the British Royal Navy and the Royal Marines with ship service and substantial sea time.

For positions as Vessel Protection Officers candidates must have the following:

Exemplary military record of not less than 6 years service
Candidates must be ex British Royal Navy or Royal Marine Commandos
STCW'95
SSO
ENG 1 seafarers medical
Radar & watch keeping trained & experience
Short range radio
UK Criminal Record Bureau checks
Trauma medical training
Relevant firearms competency
