Job Description
Mission Essential Personnel is seeking an Instructor/ Coordinator to join the OEF-A department in Kuwait. This position is responsible for training, on boarding, and processing employees. Delivering policy and material by designing and implementing a relevant and progressive training curriculum. Identify resources, equipment and facility needs, and operational planning priorities. This position will be the subject matter expert on instructional delivery of materials to meet needs of employees and the policy guidelines of Mission Essential Personnel, LLC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meet the assigned schedule, provide employees with course outline, establish a safe and respectful learning environment, maintain accurate employee attendance and achievement records, and ensure opportunities for employees’ participation, and collaboration with peers.
• Deliver, assess and redesign effective curriculum and instruction which meets the needs of diverse employees in a training environment. Inform employees of expectations, adapt instructional strategies to meet program needs, and utilize technology/varied media as appropriate.
• Ensure all employees transiting through area of responsibility (AOR) are in compliance with all necessary periodic training requirements based on company and customer standards. Gather, analyze, track, update SCOPE, and create reports where appropriate to meet training objectives.
• Cross Level with CONUS and OCONUS staff to monitor effectiveness of training regimen. Communicate progress with employees and appropriate staff sections. Maintain the standards of achievement that are necessary in meeting the demands of occupations for which employees are being prepared.
• Counsel linguists on their assignment orders at the conclusion of new hire orientation (NHO) using the information in coordination with the Theater Operations team.
• Provide data for formal and informal training evaluations, conduct quarterly evaluations; modify the curriculum as indicated by program evaluations, and assist upper management with surveys.
• Communicate need for resources, equipment/facility needs, and operational planning priorities. Assist the Movement Cell with movement of personnel while maintaining the instructional demands of the new hire orientation and staff training.
• Cross-train on various operational functions prescribed by the Movement Manager and follow PMO OPCON.
• Additional Duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications
• 8+ years prior military / civilian experience that included responsibility for managing large numbers of personnel (linguist programs preferred).
• 3 years Training Experience.
• 1+_years deployed in support of Middle East Operations.
• U.S. citizen with valid passport.
• Understanding of military customs, courtesies, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and Sr. Military Officials.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent decision making ability and sound judgment.
• Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to live and work in a deployed environment.
• Familiarity with the local area and developing the necessary knowledge to process personnel through the military airfield is required.

DESIRED:
A thorough knowledge of cultural, economic, geopolitical, and military issues of the Middle East. Previous operational experience working with linguists in support of Government operations (Contractor/Military Afghanistan theater experience preferred).
