Job Description:The PSS/SGS is responsible for the on-site supervision of small groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program.
Principal Accountabilities:
The PSS/SGS is required to attend the protective security specialist (PSS) training course.
The PSS/SGS shall obtain weapons qualification with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47.
The PSS/SGS vetted personnel are authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of the senior guard, the guard, or the PSS.
Supervise small groups or assume position requiring greater responsibility.
Management Responsibilities:Manager or Supervisory roles only:
The PSS/SGS is responsible for the supervision of large groups of guards.
Position Requirements Special Qualification:
Veteran or Disabled Veteran Preferred.
Experience Required:
US Citizen.
Level 3 English proficiency.
Fluent in native language of TCN guard force.
Completed or served at least three (3) years in the military, law enforcement, or protection security from the private sector.
Two (2) years must have been in protective security assignments.
Experience can be gained in the employ of any Federal, State, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective service.
Education Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Place of duty and environmental conditions can be extremely austere, harsh, and work can be performed under hostile conditions.
Candidate must pass pre-deployment medical screening as required.
Ability to function effectively in adverse situations.
No impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy.
