General Summary:
The Directorate CoordinatorAAV will provide expertise in the areas of operations, maintenance, and training and act as coordinator for all program communication, equipment issues, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
-Primary interface between AAV Units and Director AAV for all efforts.
-Provide onsite coordination and scheduling of equipment in the performance of approved upgrades and in accordance with Director AAV acquisition objectives.
-Serve as a recognized subject matter authority and expert consultant to support the AAV units on program office activities.
-Perform a broad range of coordination and support duties involving acquisition programs affecting operations, readiness, and sustainment issues.
-Assist AAV IPTs on various program tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Former AAV Operations/Logistics Chief or Former AAV Operations/Logistics Officer billeted experience or Former AAV Ordnance Vehicle Maintenance Chief or AAV Ordnance Vehicle Officer billeted experience.
-Possesses a current US passport or the ability to obtain one.
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
-The position for which you are applying requires a US government secret security clearance. This is to advise you, that should you be extended an offer, if you possess a dual citizenship (i.e., citizen of the US and another country), in order to be granted a clearance you will be required to relinquish your citizenship in the foreign country.
-Must possess a valid state driver's license and pass a drug screen.
-Must possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
-Attend required training associated with job responsibilities.
-Work in an environment that is fast paced, completing multiple tasks, and meeting stringent timelines.
-Must be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.
-Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
-Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
-Regular hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Attendance is extremely important and necessary. Flexible and/or additional work hours may be required at times based upon operational tempo and customer requirements.
Travel Requirements:
-Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS on short notice is required as well as the ability to spend extended periods of time in austere field conditions and to perform duties aboard Naval Ships for extended periods.
