JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing supervision, training and counsel to security personnel and managing routine and non-routine conflict incidents and other situations at CCAD.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and evaluates the performance of security personnel
- Performs duties in high-pressure situations that require immediate response and appropriate action
- Assists with establishing work schedules based on manpower availability, posts to be covered and other factors impacting operational needs
- Participates in performance management and employee counseling
- Provides assistance to security personnel and monitors performance standards
- Maintains a knowledge of relevant laws and regulations for police and security conduct
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years full-time law enforcement experience is required
- Knowledge of laws relating to arrest, search and seizure
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is required
- Health care industry experience is preferred
- Managerial and/or supervisory experience is preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or related field, is preferred
