Security Officers for Vessels in High Risk Piracy Areas (HRPA)

MDF is one of the most active service providers for Anti-Piracy / Maritime Security. The Company has operated hundreds of passages in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, and has a strong track record in safety and compliance. MDF prides itself in providing long term – stable employment opportunity to Navy / USCG / Marines trained personnel who are interested in steady income with a lower risk profile compared with security positions in Afghanistan/Iraq etc.

MDF is currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

Team Leader

Required Skill Sets -
- Sea/Marine Background (advantageous)
- Extensive experience in commanding/ leading teams of at least 4 persons
- Experience in managing people of foreign origin/diversity, with only basic English skills
- Ex Iraqi Police instructors and trainers may fit the scope well
- Military Special Forces (Navy, USCG, Army, Marines) or service in a Marine Defense Capacity civil or other
- Ability to stay 4-6 months on a vessel (typical contract on/off is about 4/1)
- Familiarity with area of operation - Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden
- Experience in use and training of semi auto weapons
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong Management & Communication Skills
- Strong candidates would have development potential (rank/wage)
- Completely clean record as Civilian/Armed Forces (thorough background checks)

A 5-7 day Training Seminar/Course will be held in the coming weeks
