Security Manager

Job Summary:
HCI | integrated solutions is seeking Security Managers for Ft. Riley, KS. The Security Manager develops, implements and enforces security programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Individual provides oversight of the submission of personnel security investigations, issuance of security clearances, processing of requests for security clearances and access. Provides staff oversight of personnel on proper procedures for handling and safeguarding classified material.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Plan, develop, administer and monitor the policies, systems and procedures necessary for the proper functioning of information, personnel, anti-terrorism/force protection and physical security programs.
-Develop directives, instructions, notices, regulations and procedures for policies issued by higher authorities pertaining to the information, personnel and physical security programs.
-Maintain files on local and higher authority directives.
-Maintain appointment/authorization letters on personnel assigned security duties.
-Develop required training for contract personnel and maintain records to include any Government-provided and/or specialized training.
-Initiates preliminary investigations when warranted and provide guidance.
-Conducts briefings, orientations and other security-related education and awareness training.
-Verify clearance eligibility through the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-Must have specialized experience with an expert knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) security management regulations and policies, to include: information security, personnel security, operations security, communications security and physical security.
-Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data and institutions.
-Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active SECRET security clearance throughout the entire duration of the project.
-Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and data/web-based systems.
-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing and file and records management.
-Ability to identify problems or potential problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
-Ability to quickly respond to Government-identified problems or potential problems.
-Ability to manage a diverse workforce.
Additional Position Information:
Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of security management experience
OR
HS Diploma and seven (7) years of security management experience. Preferred military experience and responsibility for managing physical security at Battalion level or higher.This position is contingent upon successful government award of contract.
