Coordinator Security Academy - College of the North Atlantic - Doha

The Coordinator, Security Academy, under the direction of the Vice President, Academics, is responsible for the provision of leadership and direction for the Security Academy team and the coordination, development and implementation of all security-related programs. The incumbent must ensure these programs effectively meet the needs of students and industry in Qatar. The incumbent will also be accountable for the day-to-day administration of the Security Academy.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an extensive background in law enforcement, military and/or corporate security. Specific experience in emergency management, aviation, marine and general security is required. A relevant diploma or degree as well as a minimum of five years experience in a post-secondary environment are preferred. An appropriate combination of qualifications and experience may also be considered. Experience in the international community or working in a cross-cultural setting is an asset. Knowledge of the development, delivery and evaluation of security education programs, and program accreditation is required. An understanding of the needs of industry and government in Qatar is desirable. Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, and the ability to develop partnerships with security and business leaders are essential. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a reputation for building positive working relationships. Copies of certifications are required.

NOTE:
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the State of Qatar visa process.
