Job Description
Provide expertise/conduct/support on/in/for the:
Maintaining situational awareness of the Civil Military environment.
Preparation of inputs to information papers and briefings on subjects related to current and planned operations.
Assessments of infrastructure, governance, culture, agriculture, medical services and other issues effecting indigenous populations.
Civil Military Operations Planner coordinates with other USCENTCOM directorates deployed HQs, other governmental agencies and Non-Governmental Agencies and International Organizations as required.
Essential Qualifications
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- TS/SCI (current and valid, used in last 20 months)
- Being willing to take a CI poly if required as a condition of
employment
- US Tourist Passport (current and valid), be able to obtain an
official passport
- Travel: be willing and be personally prepared and medically able for
short notice trips and extended deployments in CONUS, OCONUS,
Middle-east, and combat zones or hazardous and dangerous areas
- Planning experience with JOPES / JOPP
- USCENTCOM, GCC HQ, Joint Staff, OSD in functional area of
expertise/related experience
- Strategic / joint planning and targeting, extensive joint military
planning in area of expertise
- IO discipline, SC, or PA background (documented and verifiable)
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current HQ CENTCOM experience (present to within 2-3 years)
- Service school or SAMS graduate
- IO related Joint or service school coursework in field of expertise

- Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Relative experience may be substituted for degree depending on
type, level, and years of experience
