Requirements
Former experience as a drill sergeant, trainer, training developer and/or instructor at a US military training and education institution or equivalent desired. Retired E-6 or above, or civilian equivalent level. Must possess a working level of experience in operating Microsoft Office software suite programs (e.g. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint). Possess SECRET security clearance. Desired Position Requirements: Combat arms subject matter expert (SME) with proficiency in all subjects contained in the BCIC POI to include, but not limited to leadership, instructor training, basic rifle marksmanship (AK47), PK machine gun, first aid, security operations, MOUT, hand grenades, RPG, and voice communication procedures. Experience in institutional instruction. Experience in working in international environments, particularly in the Middle East. Instructor certification from a US military school is desirable.

Position Description
Perform duties as a Trainer for the Kurdish Regional Guard Brigade (KRGB) Basic Combat Instructor Training Program in support of the ITAM-Army training and advisory mission. The Trainer will work as part of the ITAM-Army Training Team in a highly dynamic environment. The individual is required to travel with the assigned training team to various training centers in Northern Iraq in order to conduct train the trainer (T3) instruction and program oversight. The Trainer will be part of the ITAM-Army Training Team and will work closely with ITAM-Army personnel at COS Irbil. The successful candidate will be required to (1) coach, teach and mentor Basic Combat Instructors during a three-week Basic Combat Instructor Course (BCIC) utilizing the BCIC Program of Instruction (POI), (2) observe, advise, assist and develop Basic Combat Instructors as they conduct Basic Combat Training for the Kurdish Regional Guard trainees at a designated Training Center in the Kurdistan region. (3) conduct after action reviews (AAR) with the KRG training center cadre at the end of each Basic Combat Training Course and provide feedback to the team leader. (4) Advise and assist the ITAM-Army team with course adjustments and refinements to improve areas identified during the after action review. (5) Conduct instructor refresher training as required.
Salary : Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
