Area Security Manager ,South Africa

Minimum Requirements
-Matric
-PSIRA – registered (paying member)
-Computer Literate and must know Easy Roster program
-Drivers License, advanced driving skills will be beneficial
-Investigative experience
-site and staff management experience
-ability to install staff discipline
-Minimum of 3-5 years experience within the security industry
-Responsible decision making ability
-Accurate report writing ability
-Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation beneficial
-Must be honest and have no criminal record whatsoever
-Must be able to write up all security procedures

Job Specification
Train new staff in company requirements
-Visit and monitor all sites allocated
- testing of security hardware
-To be present and control all shift changes
-To plan and draw up the shift roster
-To make sure staff is 100% presentable and sober
-To monitor staff behavior at all times and do random security checks on staff and client property
-To investigate any criminal incidences and be able to write up a report and suggest positive measures
-Be able to implement appropriate security measures and control mechanisms to eliminate risks,threats
and crime on Client property .
