Job Description
TASC is seeking qualified and experienced Military Trainers for a position in Ft. Bragg, NC . You will support the fielding and training of Special Operations Forces weapons systems. This includes all phases of fielding and training delivery, including general logistic support throughout the period of performance. You will be responsible for New Equipment Training development, scheduling, resource requests (ammunition, ranges, local support, etc.) and delivery. Primary disciplines desired include weapons operation and/or maintenance training, training development, and training logistics. Travel is required (50%) to include OCONUS to potential hazard zones.
The Atlantic Division of our Defense Business Unit (DBU) provides mission engineering and assurance services, systems engineering, cyber security engineering, studies and analysis, acquisition management and financial services to Marine Corps Systems Command, the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Defense. DBU is a diverse business with significant impact in support of our nation’s defense.
The candidate must possess the following requirements:
Former Special Operations member (USMC/USN/Army)
Able to work independently or under only general supervision on assigned tasks
Experience in Military Instruction
Knowledge of weapons operation and/or maintenance
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Experience in 5 or more of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) listed below:
Curriculum development
Curriculum scheduling
Instructor certification
Military Formal Schools on-the-block instruction
New Equipment Training
Training resource management
Weapons maintenance training
Weapons operation training
Weapons range demonstrations
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be proficient with MS Office products.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
Joint weapons experience
Service awarded instructor certification
Experience developing curriculum and/or new equipment training
Experience with range management and ammunition requisitioning
Foreign language fluency (Arabic, Dari, Spanish, French, Baltic, Portuguese, African, etc.)
