Job description:
An oustanding opportunity to lead and develop the Physical security operation for a leading investment bank in the City of London.
Responsibilies will include:
Day to day operational and administrative functions of the Physical Security Section ensuring the safe and secure environment for staff members, visitors, and assets.
Supervise, manage and oversee the daily operations of the Physical Security Section;
Prepare operational security plans, including requirements for additional resources, including VIP visits and other events;
Organise and run training programmes on Physical Security matters for all staff.
Co-ordinate and review the maintenance of security system equipment and functionality logs, arranging tests and upgrade/replacement as necessary;
Management of Physical Security inventory;
Ensure that delegated tasks and duties are undertaken in a timely efficient and effective manner;
Perform other duties as required.
The successful candidate will be required to have 10 years+ progressive responsible and related security experience in the arena of physical security. A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. Experience of working with law enforcement officials. Experience of basic IT Security methods and procedures.
