Golden Seal Enterprises (GSE) are recruiting 28 paramedics for a U.S. company operating overseas. Details are as follows:
1. All medics will be deploying to Afghanistan for a one year period.
2. Individual rotations are three (3) months in and one (1) month out over the annual period.
3. Annual salary is $120,000.00 to $130,000.00.
4. Pre-deployment training is required and will take place mid-July.
5. Deployment date is the first of August 2012.
6. All individuals will be signed on as independent contractors.Skills Requirement: Medics must be current in ACLS, ITLS, PHTLS.
Duties:
Providing escort services as part of Security Liaison Teams to military and contractor personnel operating in the areas of Kabul and Kandahar in Afghanistan in support of the USACE Reconstruction mission.
The EMT-P will be responsible for the delivery of medical emergency and trauma response during escort missions ensuring that all personnel in their party receive the highest standard of care in a mobile unit
Plan and prepare for aero medical evacuation missions in conjunction with the program leader
Coordinate with operational mission planners for the safe evacuation of the patients from the originating mission to the destination facility.
Maintain medical stores in mobile crash bag, ensuring the timely replenishment and medicines management.
Lodging:
Provided in secure villas, often the rooms will be single occupancy, although some medics may need to share. Normally the villas have satellite TV access, internet (Wi-Fi) and good communications. Full food and laundry services are also provided. For any medic that needs to go to a FOB the conditions may be a little more basic, but still a “reasonable” standard for this type of project.
Compensation will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
