Contract Instructor & Key Personnel Trainer (I&KPT) Logistics

Responsibilities

Summary of Position:
-I&KPT will provide support to train instructors and key personnel in vehicle operations and maintenance training for the Internally Transportable Vehicle (ITV) and maintenance training for the Expeditionary Fire Support System (EFSS) mortar.
Areas of Responsibility:
-I&KPT will provide support to train instructors in vehicle and mortar field-level maintenance training to the unit instructors to include knowledge and understanding of the operation and the preventive and corrective maintenance during vehicle maintenance training, mortar maintenance training, mortar operators training, M67A1 sight training, and vehicle operators training provided to support fielding.
Experience and Education:
-HS Diploma or equivalent
-Previous instructor level experience with either vehicles or mortars

-Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Reporting Requirements:
-This position will report to the Training Support Specialist.
Experience and Education:Requirements:
-Intermediate-level responsibility with no less than four/six years of experience in the Motor Transportation or Mortar arenas with current verifiable experience in ITV-FOV or M327 RTM or similar 120mm mortars in the USMC.
-The position for which you are applying requires a background check. -Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a drug screen.
-Must possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
-Attend required training associated with job responsibilities.
-Work in an environment that is fast paced, completing multiple tasks, and meeting stringent timelines.
-Must be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.
-Must be able to fulfill physical lifting and endurance requirements associated with assigned tasks.
-Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
-Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
-Regular hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Attendance is extremely important and necessary. Flexible and/or additional work hours may be required at times based upon operational tempo and customer requirements.
Travel Requirements:
-Travel to locations CONUS and OCONUS is required.
