This position is located at Naval Special Warfare Group ONE (NSWG-1), San Clemente Island, CA. This position is established as a Facility Operations Specialist with the organizational title of the Special Operations Urban (SOUC) Facility Manager to manage the daily operations and maintenance of the SOUC facility and associated facilities.

Duties:
Manages and supervises personnel, equipment, materials and other required resources towards the execution of operations.
Establishes policies, procedures, standards, and guidance for the facilities.
Develops and reviews facility management for inspections and improvements.
Evaluates and monitors assigned support personnel and using unit personnel for compliance with all safety and operating requirements for training areas assigned.
Drafts and publishes local Standard Operating Procedures for assigned facilities to ensure awareness of how to safely operate the assigned facilities.
Reports all training unit and facility safety violations to the appropriate group.
Advises senior management on current and future policies, objectives and programs.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the operations and maintenance of a range safety and/or close combat quarters facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. Experience will include: reviewing facilities for inspections and improvements ensuring proper safety, environmental and training standards are being applied and monitoring and enforcing compliance with safety and operational requirements in a range safety and/or close combat quarters facilities setting.
